Ann Kern-Godal’s Memorial Fund for Horse-Assisted Therapy

The Fund supports evidence-based research on the therapeutic benefits of horse-assisted (equine-assisted) interventions for diverse patient groups.

This emerging field of research holds great promise, and the fund is open to international applicants eager to contribute to its advancement.

Who Can Apply?

Given the exploratory nature of HAT research, the fund welcomes applications across the following categories:

Postdoctoral Research Grants: Funding for postdoctoral researchers dedicated wholly or partially to HAT. Proposals emphasizing innovative methodological approaches are highly encouraged.
Institutional Recognition Award: A prize awarded to institutions demonstrating exceptional contributions to promoting HAT research.

Grants for particularly promising research projects may be awarded for up to three years.
