Call for applications from the Norwegian Shipowners’ Fund at NTNU is announced for the first time through UNIFOR’s application portal.

The fund supports research and education at the Institute of Marine Engineering at NTNU for the benefit of maritime activities run by members of the Norwegian Shipowners’ Association.

The funds will go to research and educational purposes such as:

– financing of important equipment and assets

– new important research tasks

– seminars, symposiums and information activities on marine engineering education and research

– travel and study grants to talented students at the Department of Marine Engineering at NTNU

– scholarship for further education of civil engineers graduated from the Institute of Marine Engineering at NTNU

– scholarships for study trips abroad for scientific personnel at the Department of Marine Engineering at NTNU, with the aim of establishing international contacts and providing knowledge transfer to Norway.

The Norwegian Shipowners’ Fund at NTNU announces funding from 1 February, with an application deadline on 1 March.

Applications are submitted through UNIFOR’s application portal.

Stipendmidler fra Norges Rederiforbunds fond ved NTNU lyses ut for første gang gjennom UNIFORs søknadsportal .

Fondet støtter forskning og utdannelse ved Institutt for marin teknikk ved NTNU til beste for maritim virksomhet som drives av Norges Rederiforbunds medlemmer.

Midlene skal gå til forsknings- og utdannelsesformål som f.eks.:

– finansiering av viktig utstyr og driftsmidler

– nye viktige forskningsoppgaver

– seminar, symposier og informasjonsvirksomhet om marinteknisk utdannelse og forskning

– reise- og studiestipend til dyktige studenter ved Institutt for marin teknikk ved NTNU

– stipend til videreutdanning av sivilingeniører uteksaminert fra Institutt for marin teknikk ved NTNU

– stipend for studiereiser til utlandet for vitenskapelig personell ved Institutt for marin teknikk ved NTNU, med det formål å knytte internasjonale kontakter og sørge for kunnskapsoverføring til Norge.

Stiftelsen lyser ut midler fra og med 1. februar, med søknadsfrist 1. mars.

Søknader sendes inn gjennom UNIFORs søknadsportal.
