Støtte gis fortrinnsvis til studier av forhold og utvikling i Norge eller andre land som deltok i Det europeiske gjenreisningsprogram (1947-1952).

Hvert års tilgjengelige midler deles ut til følgende formål:

a) Stipend til en yngre forsker, fortrinnsvis til studieformål som nevnt over. Kandidaten må være under 40 år ved søknadsfristens utløp. Den som mottar slikt stipend skal avgi skriftlig rapport til styret.

b) Bidrag til trykking av rapport som nevnt under a.

c) Dekning av utgifter ved invitasjon av utenlandske forskere til opphold i Statistisk Sentralbyrås Forskningsavdeling.

Fondet annonserer årlige stipendmidler i januar/februar med søknadsfrist medio mars.

The fund’s purpose is to promote economic research.

Support is preferably given to studies of conditions and development in Norway or other countries that participated in the European Reconstruction Program (1947-1952).

Each year’s available funds are granted to the following purposes:

a) Scholarship for a younger researcher, preferably for study purposes as mentioned above. The candidate must be under 40 years of age at the end of the application deadline. The person who receives such a scholarship must submit a written report to the board.

b) Contributions to the printing of reports as mentioned under a.

c) Coverage of expenses when inviting foreign researchers to stay in Statistics Norway’s Research Department.

The fund annually announces available funds in January / February with an application deadline in mid-March.
